Taking a little note from the past to dress for an overcast summer night out in LA.

Last week I went to a short film premiere for Marriott Hotels with my blogger girlfriend Sydne Summer.  It’s always interesting thinking about what to wear to these types of events because really anything goes.  LA is a mix of casual and dressy so jeans or dress alike fit the bill.  I have been all about comfort lately and plus I knew we were going to be on the rooftop of the hotel in Marina del Rey so it could get chilly, therefore I opted for jeans and a jacket.  You saw this great blouse earlier this week HERE, and I am sure I will be wearing it a lot.  It’s such a lightweight and classic layering piece, perfect for summer.  This moto jacket is getting a lot of love too and every time I wear it I get asked where it is from.  A jacket can totally make a look and so can a little pop of print with the leopard clutch here.  One of my favorite new accessories are these awesome retro looking mirrored sunnies – so cute and they really add a fun element to any look.  I hope your week is going well!  I’ll be back with a new video tomorrow!  Thanks for stopping by and hope you will again soon!  xo
