CREATURES OF COMFORT

We are experiencing major May Gray in LA and it’s not the most inspiring weather for dressing, but it does inspire comfort!

Lately if I don’t have anywhere to be, I am all about just dressing down and being comfortable.  This is my go-to look when I just need to run around and don’t want to worry about heels and skirts.  While some of you are experiencing a major heat wave in the midwest, we are finally getting some milder weather in LA, it almost seems like fall.  My husband I both agree it must be May Gray, but this isn’t our typical weather this time of year.  I feel like May Gray only shows it’s ugly face every few years and usually we only have to deal with June Gloom, but I digress – we are so lucky for our year round great weather.  And I really can’t complain, because this little blue moto jacket is so chic and has become my staple layering piece on the days when you need a little something extra.  I have worn these distressed jeans several times on the blog because well, they are my favorite (Old Navy really outdid themselves with these)!  What do you think about my new flats?  I am sort of obsessed!  Nine West just sent me these and I think I shall wear them everyday lol!  Cute and comfortable and they would look great with a shift dress this summer!  What are your go-to easy styling tricks?  Stripes are always a no-fail option in my opinion!
