SILK BLOUSE WITH STARS

Monday mornings are not terrible when you love what you do, and I do, so Happy Monday!

Funny story, I just got this beautiful new Rails silk blouse with stars and fell in love! It’s comfortable, chic and so soft! I wore it for the first time last week for a lunch with these cute light wash jeans and boots and it felt great to be dressed up again after living in PJs for the holidays. And then my baby came home sick from school. It all happened so fast, but I was sitting at my computer working and he ran in the door with a tummy ache, the poor thing. I picked him up and the next thing I knew we were both covered in throw up! Of course there is nothing more important than taking care of my baby and making sure he was ok, but I had to laugh about my brand new silk shirt being decimated lol. #momlife There is nothing more humbling than having another human’s throw up on you and not really caring because all you want to do is comfort your child. It was definitely a night for the books and thankfully he was fine by the morning. (My shirt I think will be fine too once I get it back from the dry cleaner!) Mom life just prepares you for the unexpected and to always bring a change of clothes lol. And I should have know by now to change out of my nice shirt before he was due home… note to self!

How was your weekend? I hope it was great! We stayed home most of the weekend besides a 3 year old birthday party on Saturday and it was so nice. Lots of quality time with my wonderful hubby and Smith. And I can’t wait for next weekend because my husband and I are heading to Cabo for a little R&R time. My mom and sisters are going to be with Smith here and it’s so nice to have them step in and let us have a little down time. I just want some sun, margaritas and yummy mexican food!
