Paris Fashion Week has always been on my bucket list and hopefully next year I will knock it off! Until then, I was drooling over all of the runway and street style photos and got inspired to rock this little number last week while running around to appointments in LA. There’s nothing wrong with playing dress-up now and then! 
When I first got this blue faux leather skirt I was afraid! Like ‘what do I wear this with?!’ afraid. But sometimes it is worth taking a risk on pieces like this one because every time I have grabbed for it since, I have been very happy! It adds that metallic effect that is so on trend, I love the shape, and while it is a statement piece, it is also muted in a way so you can pair it with a white button-up, black top – like I did here, floral-printed sweater and so much more. I loved the complimentary color of the necklace too and thought it was a great piece to tie it all together. I chose a neutral heel and black handbag to let my outfit do the talking. I added the belt at the last minute to make the transition from the top to the skirt look more polished!
