When in Miami wear an LA tee?! Well that’s what I did because I am loving all tees with sayings on them right now and thought this was fitting (and sleeveless which is good in these hot temps) for this look! I played tourist in Miami. Read on to hear more about my trip with my family and shop the look!
Miami inspires me. The colors, the diversity, the beautiful people and beaches – it’s hot; pun intended! Pretty much the entire trip I wore my new white leather jacket that I am obsessed with. It felt like the perfect layering piece for every outfit in Miami. Every night my mom and sisters and I got ready after spending the day at the pool and we were on the hunt for amazing food and drinks. Boy did we find it! I didn’t have a bad meal the entire time I was there.
Food+Drinks: Besides Joe’s Stone Crab, my favorite meal must have been at Sushi Samba on Lincoln Rd in South Beach. The yellowtail ceviche was outstanding and all of the sushi was super fresh. There were so many other good spots I liked too, like at Puerto Sagua, a hole-in-the-wall authentic Cuban diner with perfect Ropa Vieja (my fav Cuban dish) and very inexpensive; Italian from Rosinella – the bolognese was great and everything so affordable; delish burgers and salads at 5 Napkins, and finally great atmosphere and drinks by the pool at the Delano Hotel.
