EDITRIX PICKS: BEST TEES

best-tees

Sometimes forget the trends and invest in the basics – you won’t regret it!  A t-shirt is a staple item in my wardrobe because I love being comfortable and not fussy, but picking the right tee is everything.  I would never reach for a cheap tee and I often get asked where my tees or tanks are from because they are so flattering and edgy.  It’s all about the shape and material and since it is a basic, it is worth the investment as you will certainly get your money out of it.  Whether you pair a long sleeve tee, tank or classic tee with jeans, skirts, printed or leather pants you can’t go wrong.  Year after year you can wear the same tee and often times these are my go-to for my weekend attire (I own too many black tees to count).  A great tee and blazer does wonders for a person.  I picked the above nine brands to feature because I own tees or tanks from each line and I love their fabrics and fits.  You’ll notice some are printed or have a unique shape, but I assure you each of these brands knows how to do the classics just right and most of them have branched out into full ready-to-wear lines because they are so popular (I love dresses from Kain and pants from Splendid and Monrow).  Write me below in the comments if I am missing your favorite tee or if you have any questions on the best tee for a specific look.  Happy shopping!
