WATCH: #OOTD DATE NIGHT

I have to say I am one of the luckiest girls on the planet.  I have a seven month old baby, but still manage to get a date night in almost every Saturday night!  As a lot of you know, my mom moved to LA to help up take care of the baby last fall and it has been the best experience ever.  I actually get scared thinking about what I would do if she decided to move back home to Kentucky.  I couldn’t do it without her and Smith and I wouldn’t be nearly as happy!

With that said, Doug and I love having some alone time and getting dressed up to go to a nice dinner.  There are so many good restaurants in LA, we always have a list to try!  I like being casual, but chic at the same time.  Heels are a must, even if they are small ones, and the rest is up to my mood, the weather and the location.  Shop my go-to date night look of the summer below and thanks for stopping by!

  • You are very fortunate. My husband and I practically are raising our 2 boys on our own, with no grandparents or any kid friendly family members live close by.

My mom, who lives in Hong Kong, came to help many times over the last several years. But since she lives overseas, she can only stay so long each visit. We manage our day to day live just fine, but it would be nice to have family live close by, especially when you have children.

    • Awwww Brenda that is so tough! Maybe you can ask some other moms for babysitter recs or trade off and watch their kids one weekend and they watch yours the next! Help is so necessary! Keep me posted. Thanks for the comment. xx
