GIRLS GETAWAY

As much as I love being a mama, it’s always great to have time with your girls and to be able to sleep in.

Since I have a great husband and mom, whom I trust dearly, who are willing to watch Smith, I was able to get away with my girlfriends to Arizona last weekend to have some good old fashioned fun!  There is nothing better than having frozen margs by the pool and gossiping!  It’s relaxing and reinvigorating at the same time.  It actually made me realize how much I needed some time to myself.  (If you ever find yourself in Scottsdale, we loved the JW Marriott Camelback Inn & Spa.)  Now my plan is to take the husband and baby on a little staycation in the next few weeks so we can enjoy some family time at a nice hotel by the pool!  Did I mention I love room service, lol!

Anyway, I wore this femme frock on the first night in AZ and loved the jewel-toned color and whimsical cut of the dress.  I actually borrowed it for the weekend from the amazing The Stylist LA.  Have you heard of it?  It’s an online dress rental service that carries super chic contemporary brands, and if you live in LA you can actually go to the store and try it on beforehand and then they send you the looks along with a return label.  It’s the best for when you know you just need a dress or romper for a special day or night out.  I paired the bright mini dress with little lace-up heels and a super cute metallic clutch to add a touch of glam.  Thanks so much for stopping by and make sure to shop my look below:
