I have tried a lot of strollers, but this new stroller from UPPAbaby called the MINU, is my favorite and the best all-around stroller in my opinion!
What’s your favorite stroller? Or what do you look for in a stroller? With Smith now two and a half years old, we have been through a lot of strollers, some are good, some are great, and some not so good. There are the big strollers that are super comfortable for the kiddos, but they are usually pretty bulky and not great for packing into a car because they are so heavy and take up so much space, you can barely fit groceries in. I have had one of these in the past, and it was really when Smith was an infant and awesome to take him on our long walks in the neighborhood. The other main category are umbrella strollers that are super light-weight, sometimes flimsy and not really comfortable for the kids, not to mention, they don’t handle well on rocks, over bumps or in sand, but they are easy to travel with and to get in and out of the car. Then, there is the UPPAbaby MINU stroller that is literally all of the best attributes in one and just came out in the last few months! It’s super sturdy and well-made, nimble, comfortable for the babes, handles bumps well, lays back, has strorage underneath and a great protective hood on top, but the best part of all is it folds up with one hand and collapses into a “box” shape small enough to fit in an overhead bin on an airplane! Did I mention it weighs under 15 pounds?! I have been using this new stroller around the neighborhood since I got it sent to my house, but I really wanted it for my car when we are on the go and for traveling! At two and a half we are out of the house all the time and on the go, so we were in the market for something of great quality, but compact and light weight, and the MINU has surpassed all of our expectations and needs!
We just took our new Jake MINU stroller with us to St Louis last week and it was the best stroller we have ever traveled with. Smith was really comfortable, but we were so happy at how well it handled, how easy it was to fold down when we took it on the airplane and were in a rush at the gate, and how light it was. You could literally cary this stroller around the airport and be fine because it comes with a little strap, like you can see in the photo above, that allows you to just throw the stroller over your shoulder. This is the stroller we are definitely bringing if we make it to Europe this fall with Smith! I highly recommend it if you are in the market for a great stroller that will stand the test of time. UPPAbaby has always been known for their amazing quality strollers, that are also fashionable and sleek (I have two others), but this is my favorite and my husband’s favorite hands down! It is also compatible with the from birth kit and the MESA car seat with the adapters. The MINU is suitable for babies 3 months to 50 lbs.
