I have to say I am so excited mom jeans are back!  Believe it or not, they are often times a lot more flattering than low-rise jeans because who has issues with a muffin top hanging over their jeans and not wanting to bend down because it’s all too low in the back?! I think mom jeans are so great right now because we can now all wear crop tops or tops that are shorter without having to fear like we are 16 again with our bellies hanging out!  I also love tucking tops into jeans and the jeans actually giving me a waist instead of wearing super loose and long tops to cover the top of my jeans. Plus, those Gucci belts that are so on trend right now – we can finally wear them and see them if we wear high-waist jeans and tuck the top.

A lot of women I have been styling a lot of women in LA lately who are sort of resistant at first when I mention high-waist jeans, but once I explain how amazing they are for styling and how everything looks more polished when it’s tucked in and how you don’t really want to tuck into low-rise jeans, they get it and end up LOVING it! Not to mention, for all of us actual moms, we can hide the tummy a bit better!

The one issue a lot of women complain about having with mom jeans is having a sagging booty.  The trick here is to make sure the pasts actually fit you in the rear and make sure the pockets are not to long or too low.  You want them to accentuate the booty.  What do you think?! Are you into the high-waist jeans trend? I am, especially if they are cropped like this pair!  Thanks so much for stopping by and make sure to shop the look below:

  • I cannot wear mid or high rise (5’1″ and a short-ish torso does not work) but I love the look! Love your earrings too, so fun!

    • Hey girl! I am only 5’3” and my sisters are only 5 foot and we all wear and love them! I think like any denim, it’s about finding denim you love and that fit you really well! Also, belting the look or really making a smooth transition from top to jeans (bodysuits are great for this) can actually make your torso look longer and your figure long and lean! Thanks for commenting as always and hope you have a great day! xo

      • You are killing me! You know you just sent me on a mission to find the perfect pair. I’ll take all my failures to consignment and not give up. Have a great day!

        • Hahah sorry! Don’t meant to make you work, but thought I would share that little tidbit! Good luck and let me know if I can help at all! xx
