ICE CREAM SOCIAL

I was so excited when the pretty invite came in the mail to go to Lauren Conrad’s Ice Cream Social celebrating her new Minnie Mouse Collection for Kohls!

It wasn’t the best weather for an event that I wasn’t absolutely sure was inside, so I knew I needed pants and some sort of fun top since it was an ice cream social after all!  This is the look I opted for and it worked out perfectly since the party ended up being inside a beautiful Beverly Hills house.  Lauren Conrad has always been someone I have admired – from her style to the way she has handled her career – so it’s fun to get to chat with her in person.  Both events I have been to with her she has been very humble and sweet – and she always looks amazing!

I think this is a great look for the office or even a nice brunch this summer.  The white pants really lighten up the look and the top is ultra feminine and sophisticated, yet sexy.  I went with a black boyfriend blazer to add a bit of edge and to make the look seem more business-like, but you could also try this with a denim jacket for something a bit more laid back.
