THE EDITRIX TURNS 1!

First of all, I cannot tell you guys how long my new site has been in the making!  I am so excited to finally share it with you and while my one year anniversary of blogging was technically a few weeks ago, I thought I would wait to celebrate until I could also celebrate the new look of the blog!

This past year has been an amazing journey to finding myself, my style, learning who I can count on and knowing there is nothing more important in life than the support from the ones you love.  I left what everyone thought was a dream job at E! (and it was glam somedays, I will not lie), to go on my own – to learn; to grow; and that I did and still am.  Waking up everyday to be able to create whatever content you feel like, having a flexible schedule and not knowing what tomorrow will bring is an amazing feeling.  That is not to say this last year spent blogging full-time has always been filled with amazing days.  Being your own boss and a fashion blogger in an already saturated market, and coming late to the game no less, is hard.  There have been days when I questioned it all and wished myself back into a cushy job where I was needed and regularly got paid!  But with the highs and the lows come the JOURNEY.  I have learned that patience is something I need more of and I also need to be more in the moment and less worries about the future (I have always been such a planner).  The biggest take away from this last year is to trust your gut, believe in yourself enough to follow your dreams and everything probably does happen for a reason, you just might not understand it at the time!  THANK YOU THANK YOU for taking this journey with me and I hope you will continue to follow along for the next year!  xoxo
