FIRST SUMMER BLOCK PARTY

I am so excited to share today’s post with you! I partnered with Pier 1 Imports to help me decorate for our first Summer Block Party! We bought our house almost two years ago now, but last year we didn’t do a lot of socializing because we were too busy taking care of baby Smith! Now we have a much better handle on things and are so excited to entertain at home more!

After living in a small condo in LA for the past 10 years before buying our house, it’s so AMAZING to finally have outdoor space to be able to entertain in.  I never really had the opportunity to host parties, but this summer that is all changing! We moved to the cutest neighborhood and have met so many like-minded young and fun families! I love it here, so it’s only fitting we did a little block party a few weeks ago! We had a few neighborhood friends over for some food and drinks on a sunny afternoon. It was beyond perfect!

I wanted to make the table really colorful and fun. I couldn’t resist the pink flamingo pieces from Pier 1 Imports that I found, and the super fun copper mugs for Moscow Mules and copper hammered serving plate! I also added in some color with the tropical fish plates and the embroidered striped table runner.  They have the cutest accessories for a fun outdoor dinner party!
