Last week I was so excited to host an event in LA with Nintendo for the launch of their new 3DS game, Style Savvy: Fashion Forward.

I wore this pretty feminine floral mini dress to the event with Nintendo and Girls, Inc., where we hung out and played the new Style Savvy game and I gave the girls a little fall fashion styling session.  I wanted to look professional, but also stylish at the same time, so I thought this dress that was long enough, yet cool enough for 90 degrees was the perfect option.  The girls from Girls, Inc LA had so much fun playing the game and I had so much fun spending time with them.  It’s nice to get out of my fashion industry bubble to hang out with inspiring girls and people in the gaming world, since that is usually very removed from what I do!  I know I’ll probably know too much about gaming here soon though, as Smith gets older and that’s all he wants to do lol!  This game is super cool though if you are into style and beauty – you can design your own character, run your own clothing boutique and style your clients.  It’s a lot of fun and gives girls an idea about jobs in the fashion industry other than just being a model or designer.

Anyway, I hope you guys had a great holiday weekend.  We just relaxed and played with Smith around LA since we traveled the weekend before.  Thank you for stopping by and make sure to shop my look below and if you are looking for a fun game to play, try out the new Style Savvy Fashion Forward game – you can style clients, run your own boutique, shop and make a character with amazing clothes and hair!
