PRINTS, FURS, AND LEATHER, OH MY!

These are a few of my favorite things!  Pairing a good printed dress with something dressy like a fur stole and then adding necessary edge with over-the-knee leather  boots is a fun outfit for a chilly fall day!

Have fun with your wardrobe and mix and match pieces you perceive to be dressy with things that seem casual.  It makes for an unexpected fashion-forward look.  A little elegance like this fur can elevate any look.  A tunic dress is usually made to dress down, but this one is silk and such a fun print so I would certainly pair it with fur or a leather jacket this fall for a playful look.  This fur piece is one of my favorites that my grandmother handed down to me when I moved to LA.  She had some amazing pieces in her closet and I am lucky to have this.

A little tip here with the boots and the dress – go for a longer hemline when wearing tall boots like this for an easy transition from one piece to another with a little peek of skin.  Also this dress with the boots is perfect for the day and then adding the fur is great to take this look to a party at night.
