LUCKY GREEN WRAP DRESS

The heat and sun have finally arrived in LA and while I am not sure I am ready for 100 degrees just yet (which it has been this week), I am ready for summer fun!

It was love at first sight for me and this green clover ruffle wrap dress. It’s so feminine and flirty and fun. It’s perfect for the summer. I would wear this dress to a summer wedding or even just date night. It’s so easy and breezy it’s a great vacay dress too. I can see it being worn to the office as well with a white longline blazer too it’s so versatile! Since the dress is so colorful and fun, I thought simple black accessories would be the best. I have been living in these simple black Zara heels (they are so comfortable) and love my little circle bag for nights out this summer.

How was your weekend? I hope it was great. We needed some down time and actually a lot more than a weekend break. I have been yearning for a European vacation and now I think I am finally ready to start planning it. If you follow along with me on Instagram, you might have heard about our Italy debacle last fall. Long story short, we planned an eight day trip to Rome and Tuscany sans Smith, just my husband and I, and didn’t end up being able to go despite going to the airport twice! The first time due to our Passports being less that 3 months from expiration, who knew that was a thing, and the second time due to mechanical problems and no other flights to Rome for 2 days. It was so unreal and I am still in mourning about it lol. We were thinking we would go this spring, but work got crazy, life got in the way, and we never planned anything. Our original plan for this year was to go to Croatia and we have been going back and forth on whether to do that or to make up our Italy trip, but I think I am ready to pull the trigger on Croatia. It looks so amazing and stunning and I am really ready to explore and enjoy some place beautiful I haven’t been before (we have been to Italy and I want to go back all the time!). Our plan is to go without Smith and again make it a quick 8 days away and visit Dubrovnic, Split and Hvar. Have you guys been? Do you have any recs for us on where to stay or what to see or eat?!
