I love layering jewelry and mixing and matching pieces.  If I leave home without my rings and my arm stack, I honestly feel naked!  Keep reading for my Laws of Layering!

I love stacking rings, bracelets and necklaces, but here are my tips to layering perfectly:

1.  Dare to Mix:  I think you can always mix and match textures, sizes and especially gold and silver when it comes to bracelets, necklaces and rings.  My engagement ring and wedding rings are silver, but that doesn’t stop me from buying lots of gold jewelry.  It’s super easy to mix and match when you have delicate, feminine pieces to pair together.

2.  Pick an Arm:  I think you should only stack bracelets on one arm – not both!  That’s overdoing it.  I always stack my right wrist because I write with my left hand so it’s easier.

3.  More is More:  I’m all about having rings on up to three fingers on each hand, but they have to be dainty!  The bracelets and necklaces are easy to layer two or more at a time, but each should be delicate or make sure only one is the stand-out and the rest are delicate.

Layering jewelry always makes every look more interesting and each piece of jewelry should reflect your style and personality.  To see more laws of layering and to shop more jewelry, head to Gorjana & Griffin.
