EXPERIMENTAL

I’m not sure about you, but there are days when I question things – my choices, my hair, my outfits – you name it.  This outfit was one of them, but read on for why I like to push the envelope.

Sometimes you just want to blend in with the crowd, do the norm, and other times you want to stand out and make a statement.  I have always been told I have a style of my own and sometimes I think people love it or hate it when I go out on a limb (a guy in Starbucks had a few nasty little comments about my outfit lol!).  Traveling really makes you reflect on your personal style and your choices that put you out in the world.  I recently felt myself dressing in a more daring way back in Louisville.  I think a lot of the girls there love color and prints and pretty things, so I wore these new gladiator sandals almost everyday I was there to add an element of edge to my look.  These sandals weren’t the obvious choice for this button-down top and printed shorts, but I felt they definitely packed a fashion-forward punch.  This is my last look in the ville for a while, but I can’t wait to go back soon to see my beautiful family and friends.  Until then, Shop my Louisville look below:
