CRUISING WITH PRINCESS

princess cruisesHave you ever been on a cruise? I love to travel, but had never really considered doing a cruise. We usually just plan everything on our own and explore city by city, but when Princess Cruises and Prive Revaux reached out to me about a cruise to Mexico, I was really excited about the trip!

I don’t know many people who have cruised, so I didn’t really know what to expect, but I was excited to try something new and we love Mexico so it was a win-win! Especially since I heard cruises were kid-friendly and there was so much to do on the ship. I had been wearing Prive Revaux sunglasses when they reached out and said their glasses were also carried on Princess Cruise Lines and they would love to have me go on a cruise and promote both. After filling in all the required documentation and gathering our passports we were ready to go and Smith was so excited, though confused on how we would be sleeping on a boat lol. He and we had no idea how big the ship would actually be!

Once aboard the ship, we were blown away by how many dining options, entertainment options and overall the level of hospitality. We literally were catered to at every step. Princess also set up excursions for us at all three stops – Cabo, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta, so not only did we get to enjoy on the ship, but we got a lot of fun adventures off as well. Smith, Doug and I got to sit back and relax and really be pampered. From five course dinners and dessert every night, to a state of the art fitness center, new release movie screenings, tours on land and lots of kids activities, including trick-or-treating on the ship, we loved on time on the cruise. While we didn’t get to see a lot at each port, we did get a taste for each city which was nice and we didn’t have to book transportation or find restaurant or do all the research on our own. Princess and the tour guide companies did it all for us. While we loved our day in Cabo drinking and eating on the beach, our favorite day was on a boat excursion in Puerto Vallarta to a secluded beach with swim-out rafts and slides and ziplines and more. The food was so good there too!

I loved all my Prive Revaux sunglasses and rocked them the whole week. Doug actually ended up stealing my “Dean” frames the second day because he loved them too!

P.S. My favorite frame is the Prive Revaux Rogue
