I dreamed about having a beautiful formal living room to people to entertain in and this is it! I am so happy with how it turned out! The very first thing we picked when we renovated this room was the lighting! I know I wanted some sort of modern chandelier and I wanted it to be black instead of brass to make it a little less formal and more casual. I also saw these Drexel sconces on IG and knew I had to have them so we basically built the room around them to make sure it worked! We sourced a lot of the beautiful lights in our home from Shades of Light and we loved how it all turned out. They are beautiful, great quality and really affordable! I had been planning what I would do to my own kitchen for a long time and I finally got to do it! I knew I wanted a chic brass light over the sink to add a wow factor and this beautiful saucer glass sconce is perfect! I love it so much and it ties into all of the brass hardware in the rest of the kitchen!

You might have seen Smith’s bathroom in another post HERE, but this fun modern black vanity light really makes a statement in the bathroom. It’s so cool and unique and playful at the same time. It reminded me of planets, which I knew Smith would love! We did all black hardware in this bathroom so I knew it would work with the rest of the bathroom well!
