Are you guys still obsessing over mustard?! I think mustard is the hottest color for spring and summer.
I love this great mustard button sleeve sweater for spring and actually all year long. It’s great to pair with white pants, denim skirt or shorts and chic enough to wear to the office, but casual and ute enough for a weekended brunch with the girls! I wore this look a few weeks ago when the weather was still a little chilly, but now I would just switch out the booties for sandals since it’s in the 80’s this week in LA. And while I kept the whole look neutral, I do love this white bag with the colorful bag strap to make it more fun and fashion-forward. Also, my tip is to wear a bright red or pink lip color with this mustard color so it doesn’t wash you out. A lot of blondes shy away from yellows because of this color, but this mustard is pretty on blondes and brunettes alike.
I hope you guys had a great weekend. We had the family over for dinner on Friday night and Smith loves hanging out with my mom and sisters and so do we. It’s so nice to have family around to help with Smith too because he is a total handful these days! On Saturday we laid low and then got a date night out at night with one of our old bestie couples (you might know her…Jacey from Damselindior.com) and got to try a new relish Italian spot called Sotto. I can’t wait to go back. On Sunday we did a little Mother’s Day shopping at The Point in El Segundo and had such a great dinner at True Food Kitchen. I wish we had a healthy spot like this near our house. I would eat there everyday! Thanks so much for stopping by today. Make sure to come back Wednesday and Thursday for new posts this week and follow along on Instagram this week as I take my mom to Catalina Island for the first time for a mid-week getaway!
