FASHION WEEK: BOLD PRINTS + COLD WEATHER

Unknown-4

I never knew I could love a beanie so much.  I literally made it the must-have accessory during my fashion week thus far to keep me a least a little bit warm when I am wearing fashionable, yet not very warm attire!  Keep reading for more on my second look at New York Fashion Week.

My fashion week experience has been freezing, but so amazing this weekend.  I used to be really stressed out when I was producing and working double-time at E! during fashion week, but blogging during fashion week has been a breath of fresh air.  I finally get to enjoy the shows and the “art”, though I have to admit my seats aren’t as good!  But seeing the inventive creations and trends a season before they are seen in stores makes you feel inspired. Not to mention staying across the street from the shows at the Empire Hotel has been amazing because it’s so close I can dress however I want without dying and it’s so nice and filled with all of my blogger friends (plus they used to shoot Gossip Girl here!)

My look: I loved the mythical print to this dress that I wore to Dannijo and the Peter Pilotto for Target party (I’m obsessed with everything in the collection!!) because the shape is so flattering.  I thought it was perfect for NYFW as soon as I saw it.  Putting a feminine touch with the art deco-inspired necklace and an edge with the moto jacket was the perfect juxtaposition.  Tomorrow and all week I will be adding more updates to my fashion week looks and shows I saw.
