It was my last full day at NYFW and I saved my favorite look for last! Monday was full of amazing shows so I wanted to make sure to look the part and this is the blue-sy look I came up with. P.S. peep these metallic tights – I LOVE them!
This bright blue and pink floral-printed skirt screamed NYFW when I saw it and it also screamed I don’t care how cold it is, I’m ready for color and spring! Sometimes you just need to dress to your personality – I’m girly and love pink and blue, so this is me wearing my heart on my sleeve. Monday was the Carolina Herrera, Tommy Hilfiger and Alice & Olivia shows so it was an amazing day. I thought this was the perfect sophisticated chic look and others agreed; Nordstrom was kind enough to feature this look on their blog!
Each show on Monday was better than the next and it is telling about how your style and personality can be varied since they were all incomparable. Tommy was preppy street style for fall, Herrera was elegant and sophisticated and beautiful as always, and Alice & Olivia was edgy, fun and cool. When people ask me my favorite designer it is exactly this reasoning I have a hard time narrowing it down. I am not a one-note style type of girl. I like to have fun and dress according to my feelings each day (which is why you should never take packing advice from me lol). I hope you have enjoyed following my fashion week adventure.
