RUST TONES

embroidered heels

Two things I am loving for fall: rust tones and turtlenecks. Oh wait, one more: embroidered heels!

BLACK MINI CIRCLE SKIRT

pink serapian handbag

light pink leather handbag

faux rust turtleneck

black perverse sunglasses

I am easing into fall over here because it’s still been in the 80’s quite a few days this past month.  Global warming is very much alive and well and it’s annoying to say the least, but also super scary.  Anyway, this rust color looks good on any skin tone and is a huge trend for fall.  I paired this little slinky faux turtleneck t-shirt with a black mini skirt for a day of meetings and events.  The embroidered heels with the perfect compliment to the fall color combo and then I added an unexpected touch with the pink handbag.

I hope you guys had a great weekend.  I got to go to an amazing conference called the Pearl Xchange on Saturday hosted by Nicole Richie and all about women empowering and supporting other women.  It was motivational, inspiring and reminded me of who I really am and what I love to do.  I love helping other people, having friends that are doing bigger and cooler things than me and supporting and loving them along the way.  We all need each other and get farther by supporting each other and having people you can lean on.  I have never been a jealous type of girl who compares myself to other people, thank you mom for that, and I think it’s the only way to be.  Positivity attracts positivity is what I do know for sure.  (Thanks to Bai for having me!)  We should all keep that in mind with the election tomorrow – please go VOTE!!!  Thank you all for stopping by today and come back Wednesday for a new post.  I’ll be talking about some career focus changes soon that I want to share with you guys!  Shop today’s look below:
