IT’S A BUMP

I was hesitant to share this look because I was shocked at how big my bump actually looks (in this especially) already!

I am so excited to be pregnant and am totally embracing it, but I would be lying if I said I was completely comfortable in my new, bigger skin.  I knew I would gain weight and get a baby belly when I got pregnant, but I guess I thought it was all just be belly and just a cute round bump!  That’s not exactly the way it happens, and no one told me my hips and booty would also be seeing some changes lol.  I have been carb-loading, which isn’t how I normally eat, so obviously I am going to see my body start to change, but I definitely didn’t expect it so soon.  I had a minor breakdown earlier this week to my husband when I couldn’t fit into any of my cute designer shorts.  Luckily, I am going on my first maternity shopping excursion tomorrow so I’ll be able to get some goodies with adjustable belly bands.  Overall, I am ok with the changes, and know I could be working out more to keep everything firm (and let’s be honest, laying off a few carbs once and a while!)  Anyway, I am definitely showing off my new bump in this dress, which BTW is NOT a maternity dress, but works regardless.  It is shirred on the midsection so the extra fabric and body-con silhouette really exaggerated the belly, but it’s cute and means there is a healthy little baby inside!  Thanks for stopping by today and following my growing bump and make sure to check out my cute NEW video tomorrow on what to wear to a BBQ (pregnant or not!)  Shop this look below:
