I was hesitant to share this look because I was shocked at how big my bump actually looks (in this especially) already!
I am so excited to be pregnant and am totally embracing it, but I would be lying if I said I was completely comfortable in my new, bigger skin. I knew I would gain weight and get a baby belly when I got pregnant, but I guess I thought it was all just be belly and just a cute round bump! That’s not exactly the way it happens, and no one told me my hips and booty would also be seeing some changes lol. I have been carb-loading, which isn’t how I normally eat, so obviously I am going to see my body start to change, but I definitely didn’t expect it so soon. I had a minor breakdown earlier this week to my husband when I couldn’t fit into any of my cute designer shorts. Luckily, I am going on my first maternity shopping excursion tomorrow so I’ll be able to get some goodies with adjustable belly bands. Overall, I am ok with the changes, and know I could be working out more to keep everything firm (and let’s be honest, laying off a few carbs once and a while!) Anyway, I am definitely showing off my new bump in this dress, which BTW is NOT a maternity dress, but works regardless. It is shirred on the midsection so the extra fabric and body-con silhouette really exaggerated the belly, but it’s cute and means there is a healthy little baby inside! Thanks for stopping by today and following my growing bump and make sure to check out my cute NEW video tomorrow on what to wear to a BBQ (pregnant or not!) Shop this look below:

Congrats on the baby bump! Im 5 months pregnant and about your size so Im excited to see your maternity haul. I finally broke down 2 weeks ago and bought some maternity clothes. It was difficult for me to find XS pants and shorts that fit, so good luck.
Ohhh good to know Marlena! I can’t wait to see what I find and will definitely share!
Your bump is TOO cute! I seriously couldn’t even tell you were showing in yesterday’s outfit, but this dress definitely flatters the bump – in the best way possible.

Thank you so much Josh!
You look gorgeous!! Those dresses are AMAZING for everything!
Agreed Jocelyn! Thanks for the comment!
Its the only time in your life where sporting a mid-section bump is beautiful – enjoy it! You’re going to love all the attention from passerbys – giving up their seats on the bus, letting you go to the front of the line, strangers offering to carry your load ie groceries, purchases etc. It’s awesome!
I love it Penny! Thanks for the comment!
So adorable!! You still look tiny!! The bigger the bump the healthier the babe!!
Thank you Tarah! And you are so right!
