BASIC UNIFORM

While I think my style varies quite a bit from day to day, I do love having a go-to look that I always feel comfortable in.

Sure black isn’t the biggest statement maker, but it is always in style and always flatters.  I love this new black hat I got, the same one you saw from the Coachella post earlier this week, because it really adds a stylish element to any look, but especially a casual one.  I wore this ensemble to an Hourglass Cosmetics event and then dinner afterwards with my girlfriend last week because it was simple, comfortable and just chic enough for a Thursday night.  While I do love dressing up, sometimes I just want to be low-key and no fuss – this was one of those night  The flats were literally all I could muster, but thank goodness they are cute!  After working from home by yourself in cozy clothes all day long, getting yourself in festive spirit and looking good is not exactly easy, so instead of some forced way of dressing, I tend to just stick with what I know and how I am feeling.  I even feel more confident when I do this.  What’s your go-to style for those days when you don’t want to get dressed?  Leave me a comment and shop my look below:
