ACM AWARDS IN DALLAS

I just got back from the most amazing weekend in Dallas with the Mary Kay team and we went to the Academy of Country Music Awards, for which Mary Kay was the official beauty sponsor!  From the time I arrived on Friday until I left yesterday, they thought of everything for me and the other blogger babes – we had so much fun hanging out and learning more about Mary Kay.  We ate amazing food at places like Sissy’s Southern Kitchen and Grange Hall and got to see the Mary Kay headquarters and her actual office – that has remained the same for years and years.  It was so cool.  On Sunday it was time to get all glammed up at a local salon where we all got our makeup done by Mary Kay pro artists.  I think my makeup turned out so beautiful.  We decided on glow-y skin, gray shadow on the eyes and a hint of orange on the lips.  It complemented my Nicole Miller outfit perfectly for the ACM Awards.

The most important part of the weekend was learning about Mary Kay’s Don’t Look Away Campaign, which aids domestic violence shelter programs, education and prevention efforts.  Mary Kay has partnered with Love is Respect to provide the nation’s first and only dating abuse texting service for teens and young adults.  This program has helped more than 100,000 young people with direct services and the company has provided the text for help information to thousands of individuals.  It’s such an important cause and I am thrilled to be able to help spread the word.  I hope you guys enjoyed your weekend.  Leave me a comment and let me know what you think of my look!  You can shop it below:
