I am all about the wide-leg pant trend for fall and here’s an easy way to rock it now!
Hey guys I hope you had a great weekend! We went to a first birthday party with Smith and had a date night Saturday night! It was a really nice full weekend. I finally found a podcast I love last week and have been listening to Lena Dunham’s podcast Women of the Hour every time I get in the car and it got me thinking about writing more in-depth posts. Would you want to read more from me?
One topic I listened to that resonated with me was about friendship. I have always considered myself a girl’s girl and love having friends, but in my older years I have tended to be a little more guarded and since I have been in a long-term relationship, I have decided a few close friends are better and more manageable than a lot of semi-close friends. Since I spend a lot of time with my family at home now, I am able to make those few friends a priority once a week or so and get to share my life and theirs. I love doing girls dinners and listening to their stories and triumphs and trials at work and in love. I think it is fascinating and I genuinely care about how they are doing and listening or helping when I can. I have also really needed to lean on my girlfriends near and far (those back in Kentucky) over the years and especially in recent months when I needed advice or a sounding board for all of my baby and mama questions. There is nothing like good friends, and ones that are loyal, dependable, honest and generous. I love those qualities in a friend and I think I try to possess all of them as a friend. What do you love about friendship?

Your makeup looks so pretty! I need to get a jean jacket too!
Thank you so much Harriet! And yes a denim jacket is totally necessary this season – especially a boyfriend/oversize one! xx
