On the weekends I am all about being comfortable. After dressing up all week, who has the energy to be in tight clothing and certainly not running in heels! Most of us are constantly on the go so dressing casual is key, but you can be comfy and cute at the same time. I am not one for wearing sweats in public unless it’s at the gym – I think everyone should find the time to put a little thought into your look, even if you are going to a soccer game or the grocery! Weekend chic is definitely a style and one that is not hard to attain. With a few key pieces like you see above: relaxed boyfriend jeans, cropped trousers, a tweed jacket, slouchy but nice tee, and sweater – you are set and can recycle them often. You don’t have to drop the big bucks to look put-together and nice. These two looks are just inspiration, so if you are feeling a little more bold get a great pair of printed pants for spring, or if you aren’t a huge fan of color on the bottom, stick to a light gray or khaki trouser. You also might wonder if you are bold enough to rock a statement necklace with a sweater and jeans, but it works – I promise (even with a trench or field jacket over it to make it even more low-key). It’s just the right amount of bling and I love mixing unexpected pieces together. At the end of the day, throw on a leather moto jacket and a cute pair of heels and you can take both of these daytime looks into date night or a night out with the girls! Shop below!
