Thanksgiving used to be so exciting because I would head home to Kentucky to see all of my family and friends, but with prices of flying the way they are and busy schedules, we prefer staying in Cali. Now the husband and I have made a new exciting tradition of heading to the desert; Palm Spring is always our destination of choice when we want some sunshine and down-time. Our weekend at the Viceroy was exactly what the doctor ordered. Since my sis moved to LA we took her along and of course our baby, aka our puppy Luella. (P.s. They are so dog-friendly at the hotel!) Since I knew we were headed to a big delicious feast at Melvyn’s Restaurant on turkey day, I reached for my chic yet comfy gray skinny jeans and this tunic because it is perfect for hiding any holiday weight gain!
