Santa Barbara is one of the most picturesque places I have ever been to and I am lucky it is only an hour and a half from LA.
After a day at the vineyards, it was time to explore downtown Santa Barbara. We were staying at the beautiful Fess Parker Hotel on the beach and near the pier and the infamous State Street so it was a great location to be able to hop around. I am a total foodie so I love doing a little research before going on a trip on where we should eat. I am always hesitant to ask hotels because I would rather go some place loved by the locals so I asked around and my intern and Oprah (her Twitter) had great recommendations for dinner: Jane on State St. and Oprah loves Trattoria Mollies a little off the beaten path. After a little window shopping we headed to Jane and were delighted with our dinner. Thanks Kelsey! I wore this chic maxi skirt that could be dressed up or down and is the best color for summer. I thought a white tee and denim jacket were perfect for the beach breeze and added comfortable neutral heels to finish the look.
