It’s a new year and there is never a better time to set new goals and get into a fitness routine!
I have always worked out and like to switch up my routine and schedule often, but one constant that remains is hiking. I love taking advantage of the year round good weather LA has and working out outdoors. Los Angeles has many scenic spots with gorgeous views to hike around, but my favorite place is in Beverly Hills called Franklin Canyon Ranch. While I think the most fun and motivating way to hike is with a buddy, it’s also great to go alone with some good music to clear your head. It really gets me centered and relieves stress. My goal this year to to work out 2-3 times a week, and one of those times will be hiking on the weekend because it seems more like a social fun activity, than a regular sweat sesh in the gym. And of course looking good is a part of feeling good when you work out, so my go-to fitness style is usually all black, but I love mixing in a pop of color or a fun, graphic tank like this one. I am also obsessed with tops and jackets that have the thumbhole cut-outs like this great one from Old Navy. What are your fitness goals this year? Hiking Runyon was one of my favorite things to do when I visited LA last, such gorgeous views.
Glad you got to do it Josh! I love taking my family hiking when they come to LA – I took them to Runyon last, but can’t wait to show them a little more peaceful he at Franklin canyon!
I don’t think I’ve been to Franklin Canyon – must try! If you need a workout buddy, you know I’m always down 🙂
PS: that tank is super cute – thinking I need to pop into Old Navy this week!
Yes Whit I would love that! And Old Navy has such great graphic tanks right now!! xx
