I am finally sharing my new maternity jeans and top on the blog today and let me just say, I love them!
The one thing I have learned thus far as a pregnant woman is your first clothing purchase must be a great pair of maternity jeans. I was lucky enough to get a few great pairs of AG Jeans via A Pea in the Pod (thanks guys!) and I can testify that they are worth it! They are the real cut jeans ( you buy them in your regular size), but the only difference is the top is cut off the jeans and a stretchy waistband in put in instead. What a brilliant idea! I was worried they wouldn’t come small enough or skinny enough, but it’s just like buying designer jeans. I also found out a lot of my favorite brands like Joie, Rails, Equipment and Splendid also make everyday tops and dresses in maternity styles – so no maternity does not mean old or frumpy or just stretchy body-con dresses. There are so many great options! I hope you guys have a great day. After an amazing weekend at home in Louisville, I am headed back to LA today. We have to start getting ready for our move and then our Euro vacay in a few weeks! Yay!
P.S. If you are ever in Louisville (or live there), I tried out a few new restaurants that I can highly recommend: Ward 426 (a fun night out for cocktails and southern food – try the calamari) and Doc Crow’s (great BBQ – Doc’s chicken is amazing!!)

Louisville has definitely came a long, long way over the last few years in the food department!
