TRAVELING SOUTH

Right after returning from Europe we drove down to Laguna Beach for a little family time.

I love living in SoCal because there are so many beautiful destinations within an hour or two drive.  I have loved Laguna Beach since moving to LA and used to go to the beach there all of the time.  Now that my schedule is more hectic I don’t get down as much, but my mom was in town over the weekend and I knew I had to take her down to the Montage Laguna Beach.  It is the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in with the most breathtaking views and the best service anyone could ask for.  Our whole stay we were on cloud nine enjoying ourselves.  We got some sun, lots of laughs, good food and plenty of rest.  For dinner we ate at two amazing spots – 230 Forest our first night and Tortilla Republic the second.  On Sunday we walked all around the little town to shop and then stopped for breakfast at a great little spot with our pooch called Heidelberg Cafe.  Shop my low-key Sunday look below:
