BRIGHT LIGHTS, BIG CITY

Sometimes you just have to let the city do the talking when you live in a colorful place like Los Angeles.

I invest in a lot of neutral pieces because I know they will be timeless and I can get a lot of wear out of them.  I loved the cut of this high-neck oversize turtleneck when I found it a few weeks back and knew I had to have it.  I have already worn it five times paired with different things.  This is a casual chic daytime look I styled here with flat boots – perfect for a lunch date or running around.

I hope you guys had a great weekend.  I feel exhausted unfortunately which is never a great way to start the week, but also expected when you have a two and a half month old baby.  Smith is sleeping through the night and so am I now, for the most part, but it’s a never-ending job taking care of him and making sure he is fed and happy.  I wouldn’t have it any other way though and still pinch myself for being so lucky to be his mommy.  It is the most surreal thing I have ever experienced.  He is actually the best dispositioned baby so I lucked out even more.  I cannot believe how big he is getting – 12 lbs already!  And he is smiling so much and talking a lot – it is the best thing in the world to get to see those milestones.  Thank you guys for stopping by.  Shop this look below and I’ll see you back here Wednesday for another new post:
