As a new mom I find myself wanting to workout everyday or at least dressing like I am going to!

Everyone told me that once I had the baby the pounds would just fall off, and don’t get me wrong a lot of them did in the first few weeks, especially when I was breastfeeding, but not all of the weight.  I have been trying not to be too hard on myself, but it’s definitely not fun fitting into all of my wonderful clothes the way I want to!  Since I am with the baby most days I have been walking with him in the stroller for my exercise mostly, but I am excited to get back to pilates this next week.

Anyway, the point of this post is whether you are working out or just love being in stretchy pants, you’ll want to feel your best in your fitness gear.  A few tips I have are go with all black when you want to feel fierce, get leggings instead of straight pants or yoga pants as they are more slimming, invest in a cute tee that isn’t necessarily a workout top so you can run errands, and if you really want to look chic add a nice vest or coat over the look and no one will know you’re in your gym clothes!  Oh!  And don’t forget – make sure you have some awesome running shoes.  I usually opt for all black, but I love these new gray ones because they go with everything.  Thanks for stopping by – you can shop my look below:
