A WEEKEND OF CONTENT

I am always such a sucker for plaid in the fall and since the weather is finally cooling off I get to wear cute pieces like this and boots!

I hope you guys had a great weekend.  Our weekend was spent prepping for baby McFarland and my mom, who is moving in with us temporarily this coming Friday!  My husband hung wallpaper in the nursery, which was the last major missing puzzle piece, so I should be able to share photos and a video of the finished room very soon.  I, on the other hand, worked on cleaning out closets and getting organized at our house before the baby comes and so my mom has some closet space in her room!  I literally have already taken over the closets in every room except for the nursery – it’s a problem lol!

I realized on Saturday that this weekend was the last weekend my husband and I will be on our own.  So crazy to think about.  My mom will be here until baby comes and then it will always be us + baby!  It makes me a little sad to think about it, but I know our little man will bring us even closer.  It’s always scary to go through change, but at the same time, we have been preparing for this new arrival for a long time and are excited about this next chapter in our lives.  I am just so happy I have a loving partner who supports me in life and who I know will make an amazing father.  And speaking of supportive, how amazing is my mom for leaving her life in Kentucky to come to LA and help us with the baby.  I know it will not be easy for her, but we are so grateful and we hope she also enjoys this next chapter in her life!  I am just so thankful and happy and hope you guys are experiencing happiness on this Monday as well – and if you are not, take a few steps back to realize what would make you happier!  Thanks so much for stopping by.  Shop my look below and have a great day!
