This past weekend I gathered my nearest and dearest in LA and we headed to Malibu Wines for the day! Keep reading to see more and hear about the best birthday party ever!
I am never one to get too excited about my birthday nor am I thrilled to plan a party. I feel the pressure when it is my own birthday to make other people have fun so sometimes you just want to keep it low-key and forget all about it! This year my husband and bestie weren’t going to let me get away with that and told me I should do something fun and different – after a lot of thought, the one thing I knew for sure is I love wine and I love live music so it was obvious to me I had to plan a party at Malibu Wines. If you are in LA or visiting the west coast this is a must-do. Not a lot of people are familiar with this spot unless you frequent Malibu, which for us westsiders is a trek lol, but it is worth it. Thankfully my husband decided to get us all a limo so we didn’t have to worry about drinking and driving and boy did we have a blast. We all packed a picnic, a jacket and our best attitudes for a day outside with live music, friends, and wine. I am thankful to be surrounded by so many fantastic people and felt very loved this past week so thanks to everyone who was a part of this day.
