2014 has been one hell of a year! It was my first full year blogging and I have to say, I am the happiest in my career I have ever been! I am so grateful to my readers, supporters near and far, and especially my husband for helping me live out my dreams. It is not to say this year has come without it’s trials and tribulations, because there were definitely low moments, but I feel very lucky and blessed to be where I am. There were so many proud pinch-me moments, so I thought I should share some of my favorite moments of 2014 here with you! Click the links below to look back on the highlights!
What an amazing trip – 12 days, 9 cities, 4 countries. It was one for the books and it finally allowed my husband and I to let our hair down and have some fun! I can’t wait to see more special spots this next year.
I feel like I have always been in serious relationships, so if there is one thing I have learned over the years, it is always make time for your girls! I love being at home with my dog and husband most nights, but a couple times a month I need girl time.
Shooting two fall campaign videos with Old Navy was such an honor and more than that, I cannot believe it was work. It was so much fun hanging with Joe Zee and Sydne for these!
4) Coachella
Palm Springs is fun any time of the year, but every spring it really lights up for Coachella and this year it was fun hanging at the parties with my blogger babes.
5) Exploring LA
Even though I have lived in LA for 9 years, I still have more areas to explore and Venice was so much fun to hang out in and shoot in. I am in love with the canals.
6) Fashion Week
I have attended New York Fashion week for the last 5 years, but this was the first year attending as a Blogger, instead of a producer. It was very exciting still getting invites to the shows on my own and especially when the designers wanted me to wear their clothing!
7) 3 Ways to Wear Leather Pants
First of all, I love leather lol, and second, this made my favorites list because this video was so much fun to make and so well produced with the help of the great team I have been working with at AOL.
8) Costume Designer’s Guild Awards
I have always heard about the amazing CDGAs held in LA every year, E! News covered it, but being a guest of the official sponsor, Lacoste, was such a treat and the event and talent there was amazing.
9) 2014 Hottest Fashion & Beauty Trends
It’s only fitting that I already did a video round-up of this year’s hottest trends so of course I has to include it here! Did I mention I love making videos, because I do! It really let’s me marry all of my skills and passion in one place (thank you E! for the great training.)
10) Moderated a Live Blogger Panel
I have always wanted to host events and this year I finally got the opportunity – but it was even cooler because I got to moderate a panel of bloggers at New York Fashion Week that was live streamed. I was nervous, but so excited and would love to do more things like this in 2015. I will make public speaking my beotch after all (thanks UofL!)
