Laduree opened in Beverly Hills and of course I had to stop in for a sweet little macaron! Plus, my pastel floral midi dress matched the decor!
Funny and true story: my first trip to Europe was with my husband (then boyfriend) 10 years ago and we went to Paris. My intern had just studied abroad there and gave me some great recs for food and shopping. One of the places on her hit list was Laduree – we went and it blew ours minds! We were sort of sick of the Parisian faire and this place was the cutest and had the best breakfast. We ordered french toast, waffles and chocolate milkshakes – it was decadent and divine! Fast-forward to 10 years later and they finally opened a couple in Los Angeles. One at the Grove and one in Beverly Hills. It is still so cute and they have delish food and desserts! It’s a must-try if you haven’t been yet.
I just got this cute spaghetti strap floral dress and I love it for summer. It’s so versatile and can be easily dressed up and down. I styled it a bit dressier for a lunch date, but it would also be cute with flat sandals on a tropical summer vacay.
