BELL SLEEVES ARE BIG

I thought this black ruffle bell sleeve top would be perfect for a day with the Burberry beauty team in London, and I was so right!

Right now I can’t think of anything chicer than a ruffle bell sleeve top!  I am sort of late to the bell sleeve trend because I have been on the hunt for the perfect top and needless to say, I found it!  I wanted to mix it up a bit and pair it with navy pants instead of black pants or jeans last week while I was in London.  I wanted to look polished, but also be comfortable and warm, since the high was 60.  I threw in some color and print with my heels and earrings and kept the entire palette neutral with my tan bag, which is new and so gorgeous!!

So now to London!  The Burberry team reached out a few weeks ago and invited me to London with them and it was so exciting!  So last week, they flew me to London for two nights and the main point was to spend the day with the Burberry beauty team a day after their London Fashion Week show.  We started the morning touring their historic flagship store, then we got to see the new collection up close, and then we got to sit down with the creative director and celeb makeup artist to see how she came up with the look for the show and finally we got to try out all of the beautiful makeup from the Burberry collection.  It was so much fun.  Afterwards we all went to afternoon tea at Thomas’ in the Burberry store.  It was my first real tea and it was divine.  I loved all of the little sandwiches and am now obsessed with crumpets!  I spent my last night in London with an old friend and new friend and we had dinner at the coolest spot ever – Sketch.  The entire restaurant was pink!  It was so cute.

I missed Smith while I was gone, but I have to say, it was so nice to have some me time and I have been dying to be back in Europe since he was born.  The last time we were in Europe was for our babymoon, and it’s been too long.  I have the type of soul that loves to explore and learn about people and cultures and history.  I cannot wait to get back to Europe soon, and hopefully Mr. Smith will be able to come along with us in the next few years!  Thanks so much for stopping by today and make sure to shop today’s look below and come back Wednesday for a new post!
