NEW YEAR, NEW ME

Sometimes you just want to let you hair down, and even if you can’t play hooky from work, you can at least have a little fun dressing!

Though I am full-time fashion blogger, I swear I never have time to shop!  It sounds weird, but it is sort of the last thing on my to-do list.  I was so happy to take a little break from moving, which we finally finished after a week of packing, and grab coffee with a girlfriend in Brentwood.  Of course afterwards I had to stop in the Calypso store and the Velvet Tees store there – so yummy!  I feel like I have been dressing so lame lately with the move so this bright coat and over-the-knee boots gave me a little flavor back in my style game and I loved seeing the new duds for spring.  I might have even made a little purchase, which you’ll see on the blog soon – retail therapy is alive and well!  I hope your week is going well.
