MIXED EMOTIONS

The LA weather is right in between right now.  If you layer up you’re hot and if you don’t you’re cold!

I like to call this mixed emotions because most people might think I was crazy for putting a short-sleeved dress under a leather jacket and then adding a scarf, but honestly it’s the only way to dress right now!  I love this muted floral print drop-waist dress for running around town.  It’s so comfortable and casual, yet with the tights, booties, a scarf and jacket it looks great for meetings and the office.  I think this is why I love fall dressing so much.  Layers really allow you to mix prints and texture and it all looks a bit more sophisticated than a summertime look.  I strolled around the Westwood neighborhood the other day in this ensemble and loved grabbing a coffee and seeing all of the people and new developments in terms of buildings and restaurants.  It really is a great part of LA that I don’t go to enough.  Shop my look below:
