LACE TRIMMED SWEATER

A little fem and a little edgy!

A lace trimmed sweater is so sweet and and feminine, but also easy to wear and pair with anything in your closet.  I edged up the sweater a bit with a denim jacket, gray distressed jeans and a beanie.  I loved the layered effect and the pink addition with the rest of the neutral colors in the look.

I hope you guys had a good weekend.  I have to say I would be remiss not to say I was quite disturbed and upset all weekend about what is happening in our country right now.  I have tried to remain quiet and not pushing my political views on here, but I cannot keep quiet and I hope you won’t be either.  If you are upset about what’s happening with the EPA, FDA, abortion rights, or the most recent Executive Order on the Immigration halt from seven countries, turning away refugees who have already been approved and people with green cards already living in our country, not to mention the fact that Trump said he would give priority to Christians – that is so discriminatory and offensive – take a stand now!  Let your voice be heard.  In America our government is supposed to be for the people and by the people and I personally have felt helpless for too long.  I want my opinion to count.  I want to feel proud of our country.  I am currently seeking new ways to get involved, and first on my list is volunteering,

If you feel inclined, please peacefully protest, talk to friends and family about speaking up, call or write congress and representatives and donate to the ACLU.
