KALEIDOSCOPE OF COLORS

I think I found the secret to GREAT fall style…

Do you think hard about what looks cool and the current trends when you’re shopping for new goodies and think ‘what is it about that look that makes it so cool?’  I honestly feel like layering is the trick to it all.  I have always known layers make every look more interesting, but certain pieces just don’t even look good if they are not layered.  This rang true when we were shopping for clothes for my husband over the weekend.  He kept picking out classically cool fall pieces, but my overwhelming feeling was a) it’s too hot in LA to layer these pieces to make them look really cool (my husband definitely has style – thank goodness) and b) most guys just won’t layer because it takes too much time and effort thinking about their clothes!  I am pretty sure they would rather be thinking about the next football game lol.  Anyway, it is the same for women’s style as well.  Take the dress above – it’s actually great on it’s own, but the vest really takes it to another level that makes people want to stare.  A coat would also do the trick with most fall pieces.  Shop my look below:
