BABY’S FIRST CHRISTMAS CARD

I have always wanted to make a family Christmas card to send out, but we never did until this year!  Now that we have baby Smith in the picture, we knew we wanted to be able to share some beautiful photos of Smith and to create other personalized gifts for everyone on our list this season!

I loved making all of these beautiful holiday cards and gifts on Shutterfly.  How cute does Smith look in the photos?!  (I’ll be doing a whole post with our holiday photos so you can see more of him soon!)  The photos of him turned out so amazing and not only will they be a memory my husband and I can hold on to forever, but we are able to share with our friends and family around the country.  I’m a really busy mom, but this is a milestone and I love Christmas, so I was excited to be able to create special gifts for my whole family all in one place.  It’s custom, but also not very time-consuming and easy to do.  The first year with a baby is something to celebrate and with Smith’s first birthday coming up, this is the best way to do it!

Shutterfly is a one-stop-shop for gift giving this year.  In addition to the beautiful cards, I made a cute personalized ornament for my mother-in-law – she loves beautiful ornaments and will be so excited when she sees little Smith on the front and back of this snowflake-shaped one, a photo book with pictures from Smith’s whole first year for my mom, and a beautiful framed photo collage of Smith, Doug and I for our house!  We have been talking about framing photos for months and are planning to hang the frame in our bare hallway.  It’s so much more meaningful to give my family these personalized gifts than buying them socks this year or something else they don’t need!  Plus, they are all as obsessed with Smith as we are, and are going to be able to enjoy these gifts for years to come!

And if you check out the cards I made, one is “Merry Christmas” in gold foil and the other is “Happy Holidays” with a fun glitter border.  They have so many great styles to choose from.  You can customize almost every design detail if you want to, from the colors and shapes, to even picking the envelope color and specialized gorgeous liners!  For the cards and the gifts, all you have to do is upload photos from your computer or phone to Shutterfly and start picking the gifts you want to order.

So if you are celebrating a milestone year like we are or just want to share meaningful gifts with your family this holiday season, check out the many gift ideas on Shutterfly.com.  Thanks so much for stopping by today!
