DAYS WITH A 15 MONTH OLD

While I am not exactly a stay at home mom, I am fortunate to get to spend a lot of time with my big boy, who is now 15 months old!

I guess I am not exactly a part-time mom, because I am ALWAYS a mom, but since I have the help of a nanny 18 hours a week, I get to work and be with my baby everyday.  I get Smith every morning and afternoon, and two full days during the week, plus weekends,.  Sometimes it’s overwhelming not being able to work as much as I would like, but I know how fast time flies, and how quickly Smith changes and grows, and I feel so lucky that I get to spend so much time with him.  I have been there for all of the milestones, and to be honest, these days it is getting so much more fun!  Smith is funny!  He has such a cute personality and is so wild.  He is the most high-energy child and always keeps me on my toes.  He loves babies, music, singing and going to the park.  He also loves playing in the dirt and getting into things he shouldn’t be getting into!  He is a fast-walker, but not much of a talker yet.  And he is a great errand assistant and is perfectly happy going to the mall with momma!  We stay pretty active around our house and try getting out a lot, especially since we life in such beautiful weather.  Smith likes being on the go!  And his best characteristic thus far, is he loves to nap and sleep late – just like his parents!

I hope you had a great weekend and enjoyed some relaxing time with important people in your life!  We celebrated my husband’s birthday on Saturday night at the coolest new spot in West Hollywood called Delilah.  We enjoyed dinner and drinks with friends and listened to the live jazz band and watched the cool 20’s speak-easy type of dancers.  The truffle mac and cheese, tuna tartare and chicken sliders are to die for!  And then we got to go to our favorite restaurant Catch with family last night – it was so much fun!  And if you go, you have to try the Salmon and Tartare Trio – it’s so yummy!  Thanks so much for stopping by today and make sure to come back Wednesday for a new post!
